Congratulations to our Glassboro Elite high school players who have received awards from their HS Conferences for their outstanding play during the HS season. We know we will see the same excellent play on the field in our fall tournaments!

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The La Salle men's soccer team fought hard in its second game in as many days, but dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 decision to second-seeded George Washington with less than three minutes remaining in double overtime in an Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinal game at Saint Louis University on Friday.



 

Manchester, NH:  The men’s soccer team was eliminated in the opening round by CW Post University by a score of 1-3 this evening at Larkin field on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University.

Glassboro Elite will be holding open tryouts for our high school aged teams U15-U18 on November 6th. Teams will be playing year round Oct-July. Teams will start practicing in mid-October when HS is done and continue through the end of July with the exception of U18B which may finish in May.

Our own Glassboro Elite Crush team members who are in their sophmore season are making their mark on the field at their respective colleges.

The Glassboro Elite Lightning U14B teams great run through the New Jersey Youth Soccer State Cup ended on Saturday with a loss to the Hackensack Royals.

We are pleased to announce that our Winter Indoor Training sessions will be held at the Washington Township Sports Complex located just down the road from Glassboro in Sewell. WT Sports Complex is located at 120 Sewell Road in Sewell.

Our goal’s this year was to find a location closer to Glassboro and to also hold the training on a Saturday instead of at night during the week. We are proud to say we accomplished both.

Ocean City FC (OCFC) today announced the launch of the ‘Nor’easter Academy’ for the 2011/12 season. The ‘Nor’easter Academy’ has been designed to enhance player development and provide a national stage to showcase youth players throughout southern New Jersey.

“I am delighted to announce the launch of ‘The Nor’easter Academy’, said OCFC General Manager Neil Holloway. “The Nor’easter Academy will be comprised of two Super Y-League memberships/clubs. One based in the Glassboro, Gloucester County, New Jersey to service youth players in the south west area of New Jersey.

Glassboro Elite Soccer players, parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and coaches will be heading to England during Easter week in 2012. Spots are still open for anyone that would like to attend. If you need more information or would like to join the group please contact Debbie Hunt.

The Glassboro Elite U15G Breeze team finished off their 2010-2011 year with another tournament championship, their fourth of the summer by winning the Lititz College Showcase. The team went 3-0-1 and won the championship game 1-0 over a tough Dillsburg Extreme team.

The U16G Glassboro Elite Twisters also clinched their second championship of 2011 by going 3-0-1 at Lititz and beating the Burlington Force team from Canada 2-1 in the final.

Way to Go Girls- Good Luck in High School!!!

The U14G Gboro Elite Earthquake team continued it's summer dominance by sweeping through the competition at the South County Seaside Classic in Rhode Island this past weekend. The girls went 4-0 with 10 goals scored and only 2 allowed.

This is the third tournament win for the team this summer. Way to rock and roll girls!
