The U17B Thunder traveled to Bloomsburg PA for the Bloomsburg College Showcase and came away with the Blue Division Championship. Saturday's games were played in heavy rain and bad conditions, but the boys came away with a 1-0 win and 2-2 tie. Sunday's game against Berks Ajax Clockwork Orange was another great showing for the guys with a 3-1 win. Congratulations Guys!

The Gboro Elite Earthquakes shook up north Jersey by defeating the #6 ranked Match Fit Academy Storm on their way to the Match Fit Invitational Championship the weekend of 4/06-4/07. The girls played five games over the weekend and ended up with a record of 2 wins, 2 ties and 1 loss. They defeated the #6 and #15 ranked teams in NJ, tied the #24 and #25 ranked teams in NJ and loss a tough one to the #9 team in PA. Way to Go Girls!!!

Congratulations to our Glassboro Elite high school players who have received awards from their HS Conferences for their outstanding play during the HS season. We know we will see the same excellent play on the field in our fall tournaments!

The Earthquakes finished their fall campaign with a strong, but disappointing second place finish at the Charlotte Moran Showcase held at the Kirkwood Soccer Club. The girls breezed through their first three games with 4-2, 4-0 and 4-1 wins. They faced the NJ Force Xtreme team in the finals who they had defeated in the prelim’s by a 4-1 margin. The championship went into overtime and the girls came up on the short end of a 2-1 loss.

The Gboro Elite took their game to North Carolina to participate in the Score at the Shore Showcase. It was hot, hot, hot, but the boys played well and caught the eye of many college coaches. The team reached the Semi-Finals to lose a tough game in the semi's against Freestate (MD). While on the trip the boys had the opportunity to visit many local colleges and take in some of the local attractions.

The Glassboro Elite Tornado’s followed up a successful Bloomsburg Showcase tournament on 5/19-5/20 with an impressive tournament victory at the Columbia Invitational tournament this Memorial Day Weekend in Maryland.

The Tornado started the weekend with 1-0 win over Pipeline SC Black from Maryland. The second game on Saturday was against Jersey United Spartans and in the heat and humidty the Tornado completely dominated the game and won 2-0.
